The above are just a few typical pictures of MRSA. Starting from the left. The first picture is of MRSA which has really taken an hold and erupted in pus filled lesions and would be very infectious. The second from left picture is what MRSA looks like under a microscope. Whilst this is of no advantage to you in diagnosing MRSA I thought you would be interested in what it looked like. The third picture along is of an MRSA infection that has become pitted into the skin. The final picture on the right (I apologise for the quality) is typical of how MRSA can first present itself.
